What I didn't do in the holidays

  1. Hi Micah
All the things that you didn't do in your poem made me smile! Luckily for you, you did still get to go on an Easter egg hunt. I bet there was a lot of excitement in your house the morning of the egg hunt. Who found the most eggs? Did your littlest sister get an egg?

  2. Are some of the things in your poem things that you would like to do Micah? would you like to climb Mt Everest or the worlds tallest tree? What does the biggest book in the world even look like? Have you used the internet to see if there is one? now that has made me curious, I might go and look to see if there is one.

  4. Hi Micah - it does sound like were going to have a really interesting holiday this year! I would love to read a story about what you think it would be like at the top of Mt Everest. Have you heard about Edmund Hillary? Maybe you could find out some information about him and let me know what you find out. I am sure you could make a model of the rocket you think you would need to fly to Mercury in. You could label it with the special features it would need for the journey. I am sure you were a great big brother and helped your younger brother and sister look for lots of eggs on the treasure hunt. I think the Easter bunny has forgotten where my house is this year but he glad he knew where you lived!

  5. Kia ora Micah,
Well done on writing such a fantastic post about the things you didn’t get to do during the holidays. It is a shame that you have been stuck inside, but I’m sure you must have found some exciting activities to occupy your time!
I read on your post how you did an easter egg hunt and got a chocolate bunny. How many easter eggs did you find?
What other activities did you get up to during these school holidays?
Do you have a favourite day from your holidays? If so, what happened that made it your favourite?
You mentioned in your post how you didn’t get to go to Wet n Wild in Australia. I used to live in Australia, and Wet n Wild was my favourite theme park to go to! I really enjoyed going on the massive water slides and swimming in the wave pools.
Have you ever been to Wet n Wild before?
You also mentioned how you didn’t get to fly to Mercury in a lego rocket. That sounds like a pretty exciting adventure, and I am curious as to why you chose Mercury as your destination of choice.
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know why!
    Keep up the fantastic blogging!
    Nga mihi
